Personal Data

Audio Content

Audio files that you upload to our service for transcription. These files may contain personal or sensitive information depending on the content of the recordings.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service.

How We Use Your Information

We do not use your audio content or transcripts to train our models unless you explicitly opt in to contribute your data for this purpose.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or other types of misuse.

  • Encryption of audio files and transcriptions both in transit and at rest
  • Regular security audits and assessments

  • Secure data center facilities for our servers
  • Regular backup procedures to prevent data loss
  • Monitoring for suspicious activities

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information and audio content only for as long as necessary to provide you with our Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

By default, we retain uploaded audio files for 30 days and transcripts for 90 days. You can manually delete your content at any time through your account settings, and you can also set custom retention periods.

When you delete content, it is immediately inaccessible to you and other users and marked for permanent deletion from our systems. Complete deletion from our backup systems may take up to 30 days.

If you close your account, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain information for legal purposes.

International Data Transfers

We process data globally and may transfer your information to the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country. By using our Service, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in these countries.

We implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
